Are you Kidding?

Ever have one of those days where you just can’t make up your mind? Or in my case, just can’t seem to get it to work properly? I think my brain has left early for the weekend, leaving my body behind at its desk…

Here are some items and ideas that I haven’t quite formed opinions on. What do you think?

I love gladiator sandals, don’t get me wrong—but do they need to go that far up? These are only the mid-calf length too. They get higher folks!

Romper. Who doesn’t love to lounge in a romper? This has a lot going on BUT, it sold out quickly on RueLaLa so someone out there is rockin’ it.

I know we all come to the point where we need a good dye job, but these poor animals! I will admit that on many occasion I have thought about dipping Dutch’s ears in kool-aid… but then what?

Where does it end?! Will I shave the cat next?

What about when you combine America’s two favorite things? Bacon and Icecream. I love a salty & sweet combo so I am more intrigued by this than perplexed. Anyone actually tried it yet?

What sort of diary should I like mine to be? Something loose-knit and yet not slovenly, so elastic that it will embrace anything, solemn, slight or beautiful, that comes into my mind. I should like it to resemble some deep old desk or capacious hold-all, in which one flings a mass of odds and ends without looking them through. I should like to come back after a year or two, and find that the collection had sorted itself and refined itself and coalesced, as such deposits so mysteriously do, into a mould, transparent enough to reflect the light of our life, and yet steady, tranquil compounds with the aloofness of a work of art. I grew up watching cooking shows instead of cartoons. I get whisks and pastry brushes in my Christmas stocking instead of traditional trinkets. My favorite thing to do is frost a cupcake. My undergraduate degree was in Theatrical Costume Design, which means I take pride in how I am presented. I own monogrammed wine glasses, and my own set of Italian Vietri China. I collect English tea cups, and love a good cucumber sandwhich. I shop at J.Crew and Banana Republic and I have traveled to over %9 of the world. This blog began as a travel log while I was abroad, however like most things in life-- plans are subject to change, so here's to good food and good fashion!
